Valdet Kanalhølen

Valdet Kanalhølen

Fiskevaldet has a natural division into three separate pools. Valdet starts at Svorkmo bridge at the top of the river, and here Stasjonshølen starts. In Stasjonshølen, the pool is fished from the west side. The river here starts with a rapids that turns into a gentle left turn into a calm hill. A gentle current through the bend, and the fastest way is towards the stone setting on the opposite width, and here the salmon is on normal and small water flow. By this pond is also one of the gapahukene.

In the middle is Kanalhølen. The tributary Svorka flows into the pool at this pond. There is also fishing here from the west side, and the river has a nice inflow here in a deep, large and calm pool. A very good fly pressure that is fished well at both large and small water levels. The other gapahuken is located here.

At the bottom of the river is Skolehølen. The water flows here into a channel that is fished best from the east side. The pond is easily fished and is a typical stop for big salmon. For the more experienced fisherman, the west side of Skolehølen is a very good place. The break in the pond is a place where the salmon often stop on their way up the watercourse. Also a very good place to fish for sea trout. Here is the third and newest gapahuken, with spacious space for relaxation, grilling and fun.
